About Martinez Guitars

Martinez Musical Instrument Ltd (MMI) is an international joint venture located in Guangzhou, China, specializing in high quality, handmade classical guitars. First established in 1978, Martinez Guitars now have almost three decades' experience of making quality instruments.

MMI has a highly trained, experienced manufacturing team, who are the greatest asset of our company. Our workers have been in the guitar trade for at least 10-15 years, and have a mastery of the technology, craftsmanship and design. These skills, together with a sense of common purpose and strong team spirit, are the formula for our success.

MMI is backed by top quality materials suppliers, with the highest quality sources from around the world. Additionally we are supported by internationally reknowned luthier Kenny Hill, who offers invaluable training to our production team in all aspects of design, quality control and international standards.

MMI workshops are equipped with strict humidity control systems, ensuring consistent quality - all materials are carefully dried and seasoned befre production, and all our production workshops are humidity controlled. Our manufacturing equipment is carefully maintained, and working conditions meet the highest health and safety standards.
