Although it sounds counterintuitive, long periods of coverage can lead to humidity and condensation becoming trapped between the surface of the grill and the cover itself, leading to gradual corrosion (yellowish marks). Sometimes due to poor handling of parcels local DPD drivers damage can occur to our items which we are trying to help minimise and ensure that future shipments arrive to our customers in the pristine condition expected. I do have to mention one small flaw though. The cooking area is a good few inches wider than the charcoal tray on each side. This means that the very edges of the cooking area don’t get as hot. Given that the cooking area is large, this won’t cause a problem most of the time. But, if you’re cooking to capacity, it might be noticeable. Customer Service Team are fantastic, we were sent the wrong cover, and the correct one was sent out to us along with a new Igniter wire for the side burner. Raul and Aman were fantastic in keeping us informed throughout and the items arrived as promised. Nothing was any issue to them and Aman also directed us to online videos to hoe to use a Smoker. We have now mastered this and enjoy all the different woods available to enhance the BBQ flavours.
It’s definitely a good idea to leave all screws loose whilst building the BBQ and tighten them up at the end. MAINTAINENCE: Please always clean and dry thoroughly prior to storage, always cover with a breathable cloth cover, minimum 600D. Anti-rust spray is advised in areas of high moisture. We're truly sorry to hear about the issue you encountered with your BBQ. This is certainly not the experience we expect our valued customers to have with our products. Trying to get it lit, waiting for it to heat up and when your party ends you’re left with a pile of ashes you need to clean up while your clothes have that typical smoke stink. The preferred option… The front door panel is another excellent touch. The door can easily be opened and extra coal loaded in. The handle stays cool to touch even when the interior is very hot.
