Palisades Toys before going out of business in 2006 produced two series of 4″ scale Army of Darkness figures. Neca presents a new line of 18 cm figurines based on the Starz TV series ‘Ash Vs Evil Dead’, the sequel of the legendary Evil Dead movie series in the 80s and 90s, that tells of the adventures of Ash, 30 years after the events of ‘Army of Darkness’. The jacket itself is yellowed and filthy, like it’s been drenched in piss and OH MY GOD, I JUST REMINDED MYSELF OF THE SCENE WITH KELLY AND THE BEDPAN. They are collector friendly and look great all lined up on the shelf, but sadly I won’t be able to keep these figures boxed because of space limitations, so I’m just going to tear right into them.

The XL-12 logo isn't present but all of the other details are there and this bad boy is nicely weathered.I'm sure you can find a single bladed axe, or perhaps NECA will release an alternate version of this Ash.

The detail here is every bit as good as I expect from NECA, even when they’re turning out another version of Ash and in a one-off outfit to boot.
