Build Quality: I do think in the last couple of years the quality and performance of small kitchen appliances has improved as companies like Andrew James have shaken up the marketplace, forcing the established brands to up their game. This item was replaced quite promptly by Andrew James but the new part also didn't work at all (it was as if the blender itself stopped working with that part in it). The 800 Watt motor is more than adequate for all my needs in the kitchen and on the rare occasion when the capacity is not sufficient preparing for a large gathering I simply prepare food in batches.
The upside of Andrew James appliances is you get a lot of kit for your money, the down side is you can’t see them on the high street to help you compare them against other brands. Having received this as a birthday present from my wife I have thus far been thrilled by the product. I have only used a few times and as previously mentioned the whisk attachment is not great, the design is quite poor and after only the second use, the teeth that slot in the whisks snapped, getting black plastic all over my food! If fitting service has been purchased and the place where the item has to be fitted is deemed unsuitable, any alternative location for fitting must be proposed.
