Rear activity comes alive during the dogfights, extending the soundfield with lots of action and commotion. Watching it for the first time in 2020 will undoubtedly prove a challenge, it's so cheesy and cliched that modern (new) audiences would probably only be able to accept it as a parody, but, back in the day, this was the best of the best when it came to big screen blockbuster action dramas. On the audio side of things, 'Top Gun' makes a much better landing with two equally enjoyable lossless tracks.

Further, while l adore 'The Dark Knight' Blu-ray for its IMAX-replicating aspect ratio shifts, I was taken a little off guard when the sides of this frame began cropping in and out. Bitter rivalries ignite as the pilots prepare for a specialised mission, which will require the ultimate sacrifice from those chosen to fly it.
