Polytrol’s formula has been designed to create a tough, flexible and long-lasting finish when dry and as it saturates deep into the surface, there is no film left behind.

I applied a tiny amount on a soft cloth and a little rubbing in and the trim was as good as the other side. There are no fancy, expensive cleaning products required, just a simple bucket of warm, soapy water and a household soft cloth. Polytrol is simple to apply using a cloth or soft brush and is ready to wipe off in just 10 minutes! After we had applied the Polytrol and we were finished, we then cleaned the brush with white spirit. Unfortunately I don’t have any before or after pics of it because I didn’t realise at the time how much of a difference it would make! Rags, steel wool etc must be saturated with water after use or placed in a sealed, water-filled metal container, before disposing of them with household waste.

Then tried on our front door which is a composite, again brilliant especially as the door was faded in the sunlight .
It’s only been applied about 1 month, if it continues to hold this depth of colour I will be thrilled.
