On my last inspection, I didn't see the queen, but all but two of the frames were fully drawn out and replete with brood and honey/pollen/nectar around it (as expected). The only downfall for me is that the book is rather short, and although it's 'fast paced' I just wish it was a little slowed. At that point you can determine whether they have any flow going on, check for Queen cells, and evaluate whether or not you should start feeding again.

In the meantime, they seem to have run out of space to put honey, because they compensated two ways: 1) built about a square foot of additional comb on top of the existing frames and 2) filled seemingly every empty cell in the existing frames with honey. This enemies to lovers low-risk, high-stakes cozy fantasy romance is packed with sass, charm, and plenty of magic. Then I took 4 frames of syrup/nectar/honey from Squill, shook off the bees and put these frames in Crocus. I have some frames I need to nail together so I may try Michael Bush's suggestion to open up the brood nest. It's rare to find a good standalone fantasy book but this is one such book - though I wouldn't say no to another book or two set in the same universe.It gave me a peaceful sense of stepping into a magical world, one that I would gladly visit again and again. It’s very cozy, and makes me want to curl up with a white chocolate latte (with a flavor other than lavender) and read for a while. I enjoyed reading Sage’s cozy little adventure and she went on a hunt for a cure for mages turning into gargoyles.

you can place a box of foundation with no excluder above and get the foundation pulled pretty quickly. If you don't have new eggs or young larva 3-4 days after you put the frames back in, THEN you can (should) get a new mated queen from a good queen breeder. I'm in southeast Louisiana where we have a very strong flow - which is great on the one hand, but not so helpful in this particular situation. If you enjoy the heavy male cast (but she only ends up with one person) in things such as Meteor Garden, the cozy fantasy vibes of That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon, but need that sprinkled of Beauty and the Beast this book is for you! Its tranquil and unhurried pace encourages a sense of relaxation, making it an ideal choice for unwinding after the roller-coaster of emotions often stirred by more dramatic stories.

That’s all I did (switch box 3 and box 4), but I had to rig up a way to cut the comb that had been built UP from box 2. If your hive wants to swarm and you have a capped queen cell and the old Queen is present, then swarming is imminent, in the next day or two if the weather is good.
