For me it was way too sharp and felt like the scent was almost punching my nose, I had to sometimes hold my breath to not inhale it too much.

I like it for slow summer days, dropping off the child at childcare, putting something on before running out the door to face life.If these two were ppl, they'd be twin sisters who have the same face, but with different personalities. This is definitely similar to Light Blue, but is much more of a sweet mandarin/orange and less so the sharp lemon I get from Light Blue. This version is all about the lemon lime fresh citrus but then it's like he added sugar cubes to sweeten the fragrance and this made it even more tolerable and better than his original creation. Smells innocent and like something a little girl in elementary school could wear, I suppose, if she spritz lightly and doesn't over do it. I agree with others saying it does not match everyone's bodily chemistry and I do not want to exaggerate here,however for me since I got it it was match made in heaven.

I haven't tried this perfume recently, so I don't know if the formulation is different, but my bottle still lasts all day (and then some) on my clothes. Am not a fan of paying for perfume to smell like one note (that's what cheap convenient body mists got my back) and when choosing one note fragrances grapefruit is one of my last picks, so not for me. My final verdict is this is a late century marvel that was quickly changed to accommodate the industry regulations. I've received many compliments on this scent, especially from men - probably because it smells so fresh. However, of course that's only my personal perception of this fragrance (I always have personal, emotional associations with scents) .The heart introduces fresh flowers including Lily of the Valley, Bulrush, Tea Rose, and Cinnamon Leaves. That was a perfect pairing so it's not as round and the scent "screeches" a little more now from the overabundance of cedar. Let me tell you I have been dousing myself in sweet, warm, thick scents all week (the very opposite of this scent), and this is such a welcome change! But quickly the musk here turns to a milder musk, although very obvious, it's settles to a very warm and watered down version of musk. The only thing I could ever think this scent smells like are cherries, almonds, maybe macintosh apples and effervescence?
