Even with trying to lean the heatsink over to remove it, it still ripped my 5600X out of the socket. Am guessing I'll be ok I got this March 1st last year when it was first released and had no issues with application and it looked fine and temps are good too.

The tube of Mx-5 i got was totally fine, i don't really feel like going through all the trouble of repasting again. I actually have been busy with other things but yes i have noticed the issues when i took apart system.
