The Dice Game comes with five dice, a deck of a few different types of cards, and cardboard arrow and bullet tokens. It’s not interesting enough in any one facet to compensate for the unsatisfying way it all comes together. But really the only strategic decisions in the game are who you’ll sit next to and when you roll a target symbol whether you’ll shoot to the right or left. The outlaws must eliminate the sheriff, while the renegade must kill everyone, saving the sheriff for last.I believe that any dice game succeeds or fails largely on the basis of whether it's exciting to roll the dice, and here Bang! This means killing Outlaws if there are more Team Outlaw than Team Sheriff, and likely killing the Deputies if Team Outlaw has fewer members.
