The Crystal Visions Tarot was published on 15 October 2011 which makes it 10 years old, but in my eyes, it seemed much older from the artwork.

Also, the glossy finish will be easy to wipe clean if someone with grimy hands happens to handle your deck! The art alone is gorgeous, and the additional card (the Unknown Card) opens up new avenues for reading.The LWB provides an Introduction to the deck along with descriptions and divinatory meanings for each card, including meanings for reversed cards. brbrThe Crystal Visions Tarot deck includes 78 cards with an additional unknown card for contemplating future situations that have not yet been revealed, or for exploring issues with deeper insight.

I feel that even a beginner to Tarot could successfully learn Tarot with this deck and the proper books for learning this subject. The Lovers shows a man and a woman embracing, with flowers in the right and left hand lower corners. Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive. This nature-oriented deck is set in woods and marshes abounding with animals, flowers, crystals, and gems.It’s wonderful to use these cards and the feeling I get from this is very positive, very connected and it’s amazing to see that they really connect with the people I read for too. While this deck follows the typical RWS structure, I find that it does have varying symbols and added themes which makes it a bit more fun and unique to read, but could be confusing for someone just getting started. The cards are a *tiny* bit thinner than I normally would like, but given that the cards are also larger than my other decks, the thickness actually keeps the deck easy to shuffle, once you get used to it. In the description of the High Priestess card above, the author tells us that butterflies are a symbol of rebirth and eternal life.

While I'm not a fan of reading with fantasy decks generally speaking, I intend to give this one a try. Set in an ethereal fantasy world of angels and faeries, dragons and unicorns, Crystal Visions Tarot subtly evokes the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith imagery. Overall I am very happy with my purchase of the Crystal Visions Tarot and will continue to get to know it and work with it in my daily life!

It has the voice of a wise and gentle friend, offering encouragement, guidance and secrets to help you along your path. However, I do think this would be a great deck to use with clients that are new to tarot or overly superstitious.

At first I wasn't sure I would like how light and gentle the theme of the deck was, I like cards that shock the psyche a bit and really tell you how it is, but deck has grown on me and become one of my staple decks.

Of course, I don't want to leave you with the impression that this deck is filled with fluff and can't tell it like it is. There seems to be a refreshing sense of hope even in the darker, traditionally more frightening cards.
