About this deal

Updated many gradient textures to reduce brightness and improve transparency on certain effect meshes. New default surface textures are now 4K resolution. ENBSeries support included by default, as per usual! (v4.0.0) In addition, I've gone through almost every interior and exterior cell with water and made cell edits when appropriate to allow unique water types for the four major bodies of water in Skyrim: oceans, lakes, rivers and marshes/ponds. Without cell edits, lakes and ponds would share the same texture and settings as the ocean. I've also used cell edits to correct the flow of rivers if possible. Regardless, I had already attempted to craft river water in such a way that multiple flow directions could be interpreted depending on the angle of view. A big shoutout to TechAngel85 who made most of the painstakingly tedious edits and tweaks in this update. We all appreciate it!

Fixed the transparency of the foam for thin waterfalls by adding more brightness and reducing contrast on the 'fxfluidtile01.dds' texture and adjusting the gradients. This fixes the issue on the Whiterun waterfalls so they appear to reach the ground. (v3 - v3.0.4) Myrwatch Patch: new patch added this release for patching two cells at the Myrwatch player home from AE DLC. (ESL)

Added worldspace edit to RealisticWaterTwo - Waves - Wyrmstooth.esp to prevent RealisticWaterTwo - Wyrmstooth.esp from overwriting data from Dragonborn. Asset use permission in mods/files that are being sold You are not allowed to use assets from this file in any mods/files that are being sold, for money, on Steam Workshop or other platforms Added sound effect sliders to the default game menu (Settings>Audio). You can now adjust the volume for any of the new sound effects from this mod. Splashes that appear below city waterfalls and near rapids have been totally overhauled. They now feature churning splash particles instead of unconvincing flat (vanilla) geometry. Updated all water types with new water surface textures generated from a high resolution 3D water simulation for superb realism. (v4.0.0)

Calmer water (from marsh to ponds) has also been overhauled to make it more relaxing to look at and a little more visible. (v4.0.0) content MUST be primarily about or showcasing RWT (comparison videos, screenshots, showcase videos, etc.) The lake and ocean water surface texture has had its depth reduced by 25%. This change should improve blending between distant (LOD) water and the higher detail close water across the board. This change could effect ENBs for any that are using high values to produce larger waves. Such ENBs could see a slight reduction in wave height and may need to re-compensate with slightly higher values. It shouldn't be too noticeable, though.

This is Realistic Water Textures revived and remade from scratch. New water surface textures were carefully crafted in an attempt to imitate the fluid motion of water. Lake, pond, river and ocean water are now visually and aurally distinct from each other. Various water effects have also been modified. New custom waterType for the tundra streams that bend and flow, which allows for much better visuals and faster flow speed Removed all watercolor addons to lower maintenance overhead and because they didn't match the water meshes. (v3 - v3.0.4) Large waterfalls have been sped up animation-wise, retextured and more splash particles have been added. Waterfall mists have more volume. All done via mesh and texture edits.

Made churning water, mostly found at the bottom of waterfalls, more visible and turbulent. (v3 - v3.0.4) Particle-based Visoelastic Fluid Simulation - this experiment is based on this paper, modified for multiple fluid collisions and optimized for realtime simulation. Archived a bunch of old mod versions and updated their metadata. These archives are no longer supported and are archived for reference only.

Patches between mods, watercolor mods, and gradient mods require no permissions. Create and upload as you see fit. This is a new version of liquid simulation sandbox, in which you can create water, oil and foam, add pipes and sewers, draw walls and air emitters. Lake, pond, river and ocean water are a bit more blue. In a mountainous region like Skyrim, water should be fairly cold. Colder water limits the growth of freshwater algae and other plant particles, which tends to give water its greenish hue. Ocean and river water are now bluest followed by lake, pond then marsh water. Keep in mind this mod was balanced with vanilla lighting so other lighting mods will affect the color. Minor looping issues on certain effect meshes (such as rain ripples) have been corrected. Some of these were possibly vanilla issues. (v4.0.0)
