Lyn: I think this could be the book’s biggest potential failing. For die-hard Cosmere fans, it’s going to be a smorgasbord. But for casual fans, I worry that they’re going to be confused, or feel as if they’re missing out on things. I suppose time will tell on this one…it’s hard for us to judge, since we’ve read all of Sanderson’s published works. But I can’t help but feel like, with this level of interconnectivity, that’s going to leave a subset of fans in the dark. And that does kind of make me sad.
