But if you really want to know the exact similarities explicitly, this section is for you. VERSATILE– Charcoal grill, pizza oven, fireplace logs, and briquettes. Looft Lighter X gets that perfect glow smouldering in no time. Specs are great and all, but they don’t tell the whole story. To get the real measure of the gadget, you have to put it to use. And what would a Looft Lighter X review be without reporting on its actual use? The fire or in this case hot air surrounding a piece of coal will transfer their heat energy into the charcoal. The charcoal will then use that heat energy to ignite.

I neatly arranged my natural lumpwood charcoal in a heaped pile, with smaller pieces in the center that I could easily reach with the hot tip of the Looft Lighter X heat gun. The fan mode is basically a mode that blows air without the heating element. Lit charcoal thrives off the oxygen in the air and the Eggniter smartly utilizes this by including a fan mode. Excluded from the Looftlighter, this fan mode is there to blow on the lit coals so that the fire may spread faster. To light a wood fire, I simply scrunch up 3 or 4 pieces of newspaper, place a handful of kindling on top, then use the ‘burn mode’ to light the paper. These issues are not widespread enough to avoid this product completely, but it is still a good idea to stay on top. So, with that in mind, let’s jump into my review of the Looft Lighter X. I’ll cover all the specs you need to know, share my thoughts on how it performs, some pros and cons, and my opinion on who it’s best for if anyone, and whether it’s worth the money.Having said that, this will be an honest, unbiased test and assessment. My belief is that it’s worth every penny if you grill with charcoal. And it’s really worth it if you also enjoy bonfires, fire pits, and fireplaces. The Looftlighter and Eggniter can both be often found on sales and discounts but those are subject to availability. Under regular conditions, the Eggniter is around 30% cheaper than the Looftlighter. Whether you want a fire for warmth, ambiance, or to cook over (the best use of a fire), your flammable material won’t light itself.

The Looft Lighter X works just as well as the original, if not even better. It’s every bit as powerful and fast, looks terrific, and is easy to use. Easier, in fact, than the original since there is no cord to worry about and the ignition process is automated. In a nutshell, I loved using the Looft Lighter X. As you know, different regions of the world use different voltages on their mains. These two products only work on 120V mains that are used mostly around North America. This isn’t one of those gadgets that are so cool you have to own them even if they’re not especially useful. The Looftlighter is not only cool, but it also works like a charm.

Price range:

With the blower working in full force, it does take around 2 minutes to get the coal lit. But some users have reported that their Eggniter shuts off after around 30 seconds of operation. SAFE – No gas, no flame and no lighter fluids means that you rule the fire with nothing more than super-heated air. And the safety casing cools down seconds after use. When holding the handle of the Looft Lighter X, the power button is on the underside of the handle, where your index finger is likely resting. Hold that button down for a few seconds until the buttons light up. Position the Looft Lighter X heating element and activate burn mode.
