Orasore Mouth Ulcer Relief Gel is a topical gel used to provide fast relief from severe pain and irritation caused by mouth ulcers. It is formulated with a combination of two active ingredients, choline salicylate and lidocaine, which work together to reduce pain and inflammation. It is also infused with glycerine, spearmint and fennel to provide a cooling and soothing sensation in the mouth. Use Orajel exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Read all medication guides or instruction sheets.Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number). You can usually treat thrush with anti fungal mouth drops, pastilles or a gel. You may also have a course of anti fungal tablets. You might need to have anti fungal treatment through a drip into a vein in your arm if the thrush is bad.

It is not known if miconazole passes into breast milk. Daktarin oral gel should be used with caution in nursing mothers, and only if the benefits to the mother outweigh any risks to the nursing infant. Make sure your child is drinking enough fluids like water and milk. Try offering them cold drinks through a straw if their mouth is very sore. If you have false teeth (dentures) and are treating oral thrush you should also brush the gel onto your dentures after you take them out at night.
