About this deal

After Xavier’s death, Rogue adopted a uniform that looked very similar to her original Brotherhood one. It consisted on a green, hooded top with white trimming, which zipped up the front. She wore green leggings and green thigh-high boots. She sometimes wore a white belt with it too. [Uncanny Avengers (1st series) #1] One version of Rogue did not only absorb Ms. Marvel on a permanent basis, but also her teammate Colossus. During the X-Men’s conflict with the Hellfire Club, Rogue tried to save Colossus who was sinking into the ground thanks to Harry Leland’s control over gravity. Cruelly, Selene disintegrated Rogue’s glove, so that would have to choose between absorbing him or letting him suffocate under the ground. In the main reality, Rogue let go of him in time, whereas in the Mutant X universe, she hesitated too long. Having three personalities in her head rendered Rogue a bit unstable and she hardly spoke to anyone. She continued to fight alongside the X-Men, their line-up also including Nightcrawler and Mystique, but it was left unclear what, if any, relations she had to them. Rogue died alongside most other heroes of this Earth when they fought the combined threats of the Beyonder, Dracula and the Goblin Force. Rogue was given command of an X-Men team by Cyclops. She also dealt with Gambit's transformation into Death. To face the Children of the Vault she chose Mystique, Iceman, Cannonball, Omega Sentinel, Cable, Lady Mastermind, and an unwilling Sabretooth as her squad.

One day, a woman appeared in town claiming to be an anthropologist from Melbourne University. Rogue made it clear she could stay as long as she wanted, but to keep out of her way. The anthropologist approached Rogue with questions about some of the remains she had found in the town. Rogue said she didn't know and to leave her alone. The anthropologist followed her and explained she had a different identity. The anthropologist was then targeted by a low flying Shi'ar spaceship and revealed that she was really Danger and informed Rogue she was going to get her revenge on Professor Xavier for using her as a conduit. Danger was damaged by the Shi'ar and created an amalgamation of several past events in the X-Men's history prominently involving Rogue in the town using her hard light capabilities. As Professor Xavier and Gambit searched for her, Rogue evaded old versions of the X-Men and the Marauders that were part of Danger's creation. She was finally cornered by the Marauders and refused to let Mystique take control and save her as the fake Scalphunter shot at her. Mystique took over Rogue's body to save her and fought off the Marauders, returning Rogue's control over her body. After the events of "Age of X" Rogue became torn between her feelings for Gambit and Magneto. Gambit stated that she had to be ready for him for good before he could be with her again, and that he would be waiting for her when she was ready. After Rogue confronted Magneto about his past, she spent a night with him, promising nothing else. Afterwards, Rogue joined Professor X, Frenzy, Legion, Magneto, and Gambit on a mission to capture several of Legion's personalities that escaped after Age of X. The final battle with Legion's personality Styx resulted in Rogue temporarily absorbing many of Legion's powers, which led her to finding the location of Havok, Polaris, and Marvel Girl, the mutants that were left in space after the X-Men's mission to stop Vulcan. She now has the power to leech away both the abilities and life energy of others from a good distance away, eliminating the need to touch enemies to swipe their abilities and memories. Mystique seemingly tried to repair her relationship with Rogue but was rebuffed. Rogue's team defeated the group known as the Children of the Vault. Afterward, Rogue declared her team would be leaving the X-Mansion. Rogue was hospitalized after a battle with Pandemic. Cable, desiring Rogue's help in defeating the Hecatomb, forced Rogue awake. Pandemic infected Rogue with a virus, Strain 88, altering her powers by amplifying them into an instantaneous death-touch. In defeating Hecatomb, Rogue absorbed psyches of eight billion entities that had been stored inside it.A lot of her greatest costumes according to me have a sort of 80’s look and feel to them, so it’s no surprise that I would find this one great as well . It’s probably her most 80’s right down to the aerobics instructor feel of it, but I mean if it works it works, and I think this costume most definitely worked! The X-Men battled the Juggernaut and Nimrod. Rogue absorbed the powers of most of her teammates to defeat Nimrod.

During an invasion of aliens from another dimension, Rogue begged Sage to use her jump-starting powers to evolve Rogue to a point where she could control all of the various powers inside of her. Sage agreed, and Rogue became a one-woman army, able to use the powers of anyone she had absorbed in the past, exhibiting a multitude of powers at once. Ionic Energy Form: The tissue and bones of her entire body presumably have now been augmented in strength and to a certain extent. She is now composed of organic matter that is permeated with this form of energy.Rogue formerly wore a pair of ruby quartz sunglasses to avoid accidentally harming anyone with optic blasts when she absorbed Cyclops' power.

Rogue was #5 on IGN's Top Twenty-Five X-Men list, and #4 on their Top Ten X-Babes list and #3 on Marvel's list of Top 10 Toughest Females for 2009 and was given title of #1 X-Man on CBR's Top 50 X-Men of All Time for 2008. Depending on the writer, Rogue's dialogue usually has 'I' replaced with 'Ah' to emphasize her southern accent. This is not the case all the time, however.

Rogue isn't like the other X-Men. Not by a longshot! She hails from Mississippi, so not only does she possess that sugary sweet southern accent, but she's well versed in the art of southern hospitality. That means when she's using her super strength to pummel a bad guy into pulp, she still makes sure to be kind and polite about it. She might even shake Mister Sinister's hand before throwing him through a wall. Actually, maybe she could teach Wolverine a thing or two about being polite! Her power is potentially lethal. Her flirtation, Cody Robbins, was in a comatose state for roughly a decade after her powers first manifested when they touched. He never fully awakened, and finally passed on instead of remaining on life support; however, Rogue has never actually killed with her powers; even under the influence of Strain 88, she only sent victims into a permanent vegetative state. Superhuman Strength: Presumably possesses vast superhuman strength, the limits of which aren't known, and she is listed as Class 100.

In the Age of Apocalypse, the conflicts between humans and mutants started several years earlier than they were supposed to, and soon all North America resembled a huge battleground. Once her mutant powers manifested, Rogue went on the run and for some unknown reason she came into conflict with Polaris, during which she absorbed half of the green-haired mutant’s magnetic abilities. Later on, Mystique brought her to Magneto and she became one of his X-Men. Rogue was present when the Scarlet Witch died and promised to take care of her father, Magneto. Over the years, they grew closer, fell in love and married after Magneto found a way to use his magnetic field to bypass Rogue’s absorption talent. The pair even had a child whom they named Charles, after Magneto’s long dead friend, Charles Xavier. Rogue co-led the X-Men even after the mutants had finally overcome Apocalypse’s rule, and she helped her husband to make the world a better place. She even stood by his side after learning that Magneto had made a deal with the devil, or actually Mr. Sinister, and understood his need to atone for his crime by going to prison. At times when Rogue would become unconscious, or in extreme stress, Danvers' personality would take-over. Rogue and Dazzler formed a tepid friendship, which was tested several times as Rogue envied Dazzler's relationship with teammate Longshot. Rogue even dressed and posed as Dazzler to court the man's attention.

As much as it kills me to admit the most obvious possible choice, I can’t deny that the classic 90’s Rogue look that she’s most well known for is also probably my favorite of the bunch. After Gambit left the X-Men, Rogue dressed in a style that reflected her original outfit. She wore a dark green bodysuit with white trimming and a hooded cloak of similar colors. She topped it off with dark green boots and long opera gloves. [X-Men (2nd series) #188] Wonder Man's Powers: Currently, Rogue seemingly still retains some of Wonder Man powers and abilities even though he has been released from her body, possibly permanently. Assuming a 1:1 comparison between their two power levels, she may possess the following:
