About this deal

Complementary Dishes: Firelli, with its unique Italian profile, complements tomato-based dishes exceptionally well. It’s a match made in heaven for dishes like spaghetti, lasagna, and ratatouille. But don’t let its Italian roots limit you; it’s versatile enough for global cuisines, from tacos to stir-fries. Though, just like in most any hot sauce, that’s not the level of heat you experience since the chilies are diluted amid the other ingredients. Casa Firelli Hot Sauce doesn’t list its Scoville heat range, though it’s often reported to be “medium heat.” I found that to be generous. For me, it’s more the upper level of mild, and it doesn’t grow much above that. These ingredients alone would make for a tantalizing sauce, but the Firelli creators didn’t stop there. Firelli blends harmoniously with the tomato base, accentuating the flavors of toppings, whether you’re a fan of Margherita, Pepperoni, or Veggie Deluxe. Firelli Hot Sauce is crafted from Roasted Red Peppers, Aceto Balsamico Di Modena, Calabrian Hot Peppers, and a harmonious blend of natural ingredients like Apple Vinegar, Lemon Juice, and Dried Porcini Mushrooms.

A touch of Sugar adds just the right amount of sweetness, while an array of Natural Flavourings, Spices, and Salt enhance the overall taste profile. Tight Seal: Always ensure the bottle’s cap is tightly sealed after each use. This prevents any contaminants from getting in and also retains the sauce’s robust flavor.

WHAT MAKES OUR SAUCE SO DELICIOUS

Italian Calabrian chilies are the heat source here. Calabrian peppers range from 25,000 to 40,000 Scoville heat units, which is near as hot as cayenne peppers (30,000 to 50,000 SHU.) When compared to some common hot sauces or chilis, the Original and Truffle flavors of Firelli are moderately spicy, akin to the heat you might find in a mild jalapeño pepper. I love the Italian-style font and classic design. The bottle, too, screams authentic Italian. It’s tapered from bottom to top, like a bottle of Galliano liquor. PROUDLY ITALIAN – From our heritage to our sourcing to our taste, Firelli hot sauces are handcrafted in Parma, delicately balancing Italian ingredients to deliver an Italian appreciation for fresh foods and home cooking.

Every drop of Firelli is a tribute to the Agrimonti family’s legacy and their dedication to flavor and quality. The subtle undertones of earthy porcini mushrooms and a hint of citrusy lemon elevate the sauce, ensuring a balanced and harmonious taste. Whether you’re enjoying a meat-filled taco, a bean burrito, or a veggie wrap, a sprinkle of Firelli can provide an Italian twist to these Mexican favorites.

Keep It Cool: While it’s not essential to refrigerate Firelli after opening, doing so will extend its shelf life and keep it tasting fresher for longer. The cool environment of a fridge slows down the degradation of flavors and preserves the sauce’s vibrant color. Diving deeper, your palate is immediately welcomed by the comforting warmth of roasted red peppers, providing a base that’s both smoky and slightly sweet. Quantities Matter: Begin with a small quantity, especially if you’re new to Firelli. It’s always easier to add more later on. A teaspoon might be all you need to start with for individual servings.

HOTTING THINGS UP

It’s a heat that tingles and excites, but is beautifully balanced. What To Eat Firelli Hot Sauce With?
